ABOUT US

Takanilee is a specialised kennel breeding German Shepherd Dogs of distinction, with a reputation of superb temperaments and of superior show quality. We are situated in Tamworth an area in North Western New South Wales, Australia. We live on 5 acres which our dogs love as it gives them the space to play and frolic with each other. We do not kennel our dogs as they are an integral part of our family and they like to know what is happening in their home.

After more than 12 months of research Takanilee now have their first pups of our new breed from Nairn and Lee Whatling at ARBELTERHUND ROTTWEILERS. Look out for the new pages on our Rottweilers coming soon. Also, a big thanks to Nairn and Lee for their expert help and time. Our dogs mean everything to us and we are aiming to do the best we can for the German Shepherd Breed in Australia . All our German Shepherds and Rottweilers have wonderful temperaments and do us proud with what ever situation they are in.

German Shepherds have been part of our family for over 12years with plenty more to come yet. Our breeding program is going great guns. Lexy is pregnant to Takanilee Gorgeous Guy and Angie is pregnant to Aust Ch Freevale Strikes Gold. Check our litters page for pictures of the parents.

Rottweilers have only been with us for 12 months but we are striving to enhance this magnificant breed with the standards that we are used to here at Takanilee.
